Filmic Archive DLC arrives September 22
Launching September 22 on PC, XBOX, and PlayStation 5, the Filmic Archive DLC brings iconic looks inspired by Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two to Arrakis.
Wear the Aegis of the Unwalked Path armor, inspired by Paul Atreides’ visions of Fremen holy warriors in Dune: Part One. Brave the elements in the Caladan Stormcoat, worn by Paul and Duke Leto in Dune: Part One. The DLC also includes additional film-inspired outfits, plus an extensive 73-piece Sardaukar building set to bring the feared Imperial warriors’ distinctive style to your base and more.
Filmic Archive will be available for $9.99. The Coming Soon page will launch on Thursday, August 27, immediately after the trailer premieres during the Xbox Gamescom broadcast at 4 PM CEST.
Seven minutes of PS5 gameplay
For the first time, Gamescom visitors can play Dune: Awakening on PlayStation 5. For everyone following from home, we have released seven minutes of gameplay captured on PlayStation 5 Pro.
The footage offers a closer look at how Dune: Awakening looks, plays, and performs on console—from surviving the open deserts of Arrakis to building a foothold, taking flight in an ornithopter, and facing the ever-present threat of the sands.
Dune: Awakening offers two graphics mode on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro:
- Performance Mode: 60fps, Dynamic 4K
- Quality Mode: 30fps, Dynamic 4K
PlayStation 5 Pro features a higher native resolution in both modes, as well as enhanced visuals in Quality Mode.
Cross-play is coming post-launch
We are excited to finally confirm that cross-play is coming to Dune: Awakening post console launch.
Currently we are not ready to share a release date yet, but we will have more information to share as development progresses. Our goal is to help more players share their stories, alliances, rivalries, and battles for Arrakis – regardless of platform.
